Recently got wheel ceramic coat from ammo nyc for $95. Was super easy to apply. Really just need to be thorough and get the wheels and calipers squeaky clean. It makes cleaning them SO easy. All I need is very little agitation and a power washer and the dirt comes right off.

For sure! I’ve tried to turn on just the fan at low settings but it doesn’t do much so when it’s 90 degrees out I’m forced to have AC on. Good thing my AC works, ha!

On my f- Goodyear eagle tires I run them at 31 front and 33 rear hot and at the top of second gear I feel the rear get a little squirrelly. What tire pressure you guys running at? On my Evora GT I’ve never experienced the rear want to come out but I was in Michelin 4s tires. Perhaps it’s the tire?

Just completed a first time trip to the tail of the dragon. 2k miles round trip from NJ and the car ran perfectly. Past the 5k mile mark already in the first 2 months of ownership, hot damn!!

For the most part it’s boring highway roads (we did midway stop at Pittsburgh which was really nice). I drew up alternate twisty roads on the app calimoto but it ended up adding 3 hours to the route and my wife wasn’t about that life lol

I’ve road-tripped my Emira from Indiana to NJ, then NJ to Vermont, and now NJ to TN. Currently at the tail of the dragon! I think as long as you don’t have tons of stuff it’s a great road trip car

When locking the car, what if you hit the lock button twice and disable the interior motion sensor? I wonder if that can eliminate one potential problem. If it still goes off, at least you know it may not be the interior motion sensor

I use the battery tracker Bluetooth that antigravity sells for like $30. Lets you know the %, the cranking amps etc

I’ve actually seen a YouTube video where a Toyota dealer actually does an oil change on an Evora. So it’s possible but highly unlikely they’ve never done one before so your car might be the guinea pig. Might be helpful to call Toyota dealers and ask around

These prices are freaking ridiculous. Can we agree that the average price you should be paying for an oil change in the US is $250-300? (Regardless of location. I live in NJ and it cost $260 from a lotus dealer). Everything above that price is too much and you should really think about doing...

This oil thing is always a crazy topic of contention on any forum. In today’s age is there ANY oil that requires you to change it every 1000 miles? (Assuming no track days etc). Most oils say they are good for 7,10k or even more miles! You would think if oil manufacturers want more business...

You have to remove the rear wheel like the Evora GT? I didn’t see that in the instructions. When I did this for my Evora it was like 3 hours but I needed to remove the wheel and I didn’t think that was needed for the Emira
