I missed the FE wave and am pretty bummed to miss out on touring spec with all the drive goodies. I do like that I can get the black lettering on a non black pack car though. I hope they don't raise pricing too much. I don't think they can since there's a bunch of FEs sitting on lots right...

Not sure why you would be disappointed. The FE version is objectively better with the availability of the mode selector in touring spec. The only better option here is getting the extended black pack for black letters. Everything else is the same for likely more money.

I traded in a 2016 Chevy SS sedan with a manual back in 2019. Objectively it was a good trade in at the time but its the only car I've ever really missed. It was wonderful to drive and a lot of fun when picking up the kids.

If all their other options are EVs it seems to me that they could still keep a smaller ICE car like the Emira going for awhile.

Of those choices I would try to get the first wheel in a gold color. If the car is blue, red, or green it will look good with gold wheels.

I don't think anyone is asking for it in the interior here. Gloss black exterior elements are just like black paint. Those forged parts look great.

Shadow gray looks boring in photos and it is really dark but I saw one in person at the dealer and its a really nice paint. That said I still think the lighter shades are better on the Emira to show all the great creases and curves.

This is the answer. Put your head over the center console and adjust the passenger mirror so you just see the edge of the car. Then put your face next to the drivers window and adjust the mirror to show just the edge of the car. Of note the drivers mirror needs to be at maximum for this but...

Depending on the color chosen the configurator will let you select 1st edition V6. Seems Shadow, Atlantis, seneca, meridian, and zinc allow for the v6 as of typinmg this comment. Edit also forcing the website to the v6-first-edition site allows all the colors to still be configured.

I was at Galpin this weekend and they have a Shadow, Hethel and VD in stock up in their Lotus room. The shadow looks great in person. The site doesn't list pricing for them so I assume its over MSRP.

Nimbus shows the creases along the door better than any other paint.

If you are looking to preserve value just get the manual.

That atlantis is looking pretty good back there. I wonder what the take rates would have been if that was an FE1.0 color. I also love the way Nimbus makes the body creases look so sharp.
