I would just disconnect the battery for several minutes and reconnect to see if that fixes the issue. I wouldn’t run to the dealer especially if you’re that far away. Try and troubleshoot as best you can before making the trip!

Yup. I tried 2 different exhausts so after I saw how easy the decat was done I did it myself using ramps!

Are you sure that’s not the ABS kicking in? (Maybe it’s coming up after you push the car harder after warm up laps)

Yeah both tires are summer tires. Folks that drive through winter in cold temps switch their tires out to all seasons or even winter tires

I think most people are having issues with aeries TI exhaust and the valvetronic exhaust.

Not sure if this has any correlation or not but as the temperature becomes cooler, my car has started stronger and stronger every time. I have not had any software updates in months

Is the GT4 that much faster than an Emira? Don’t they have similar numbers? Albeit the GT4 costs ~40-50k more after options

I ran into the issues of trying to use a floor jack to lift the car but then not having the space to squeeze a jack in there. If you look under the car, the car has frames all along the side of the car that you can use to jack up the car and squeeze the jack at the jacking point

I owned a GT for about 2 years and it’s the same thing. Just as it’s getting exciting it’s cuts off abruptly. With time (and mods like the 3rd cat delete) you’ll learn to get better at shifting right before cutoff. Not to mention you can do so purely based off of the sound

What does the obd2 say the issue is?

Put an obd2 on it to see the why. Likely bad o2 sensors

That’s what I’m saying. I live in NJ and am about and about in my emira every weekend and yet to run into another one! I don’t really do cars and coffee but I am sure another 1 or 2 will pop up there

Nice write up. Did you only have the driver side by pass kit from GRP? What happens with the passenger side if there is no kit connected? I am assuming it’s just the warning light at startup

I’ve driven like 500 miles on bad o2 sensors on my Emira before they were changed out by the LOL. The dealer said it was fine to do that until the new sensors showed up

Cup 2s are teribbleeee in the rain. I’ve read about horror stories with any rain so when I had them on my Evora GT and it rained, I chose not to drive the car that day

The resistor from GRP is only for the drivers side, correct? I don’t believe they have released the passenger side bypass kit.

How are you washing your car? Pressure washer? You need to be very careful around the window seals. Normally I’ll take a step back when washing around that area and very quickly pass it with the pressure washer to clean it. I don’t aim it directly at the area where the window meets the roof...

What’s the point of the magnetic drain plug? So you don’t accidentally drop the plug in with the old oil?

It allows you full control of the valves. You can rode around with the valves 100% open all the time. Current setup even in sport the valves only open at 4k but with the controller it’ll be open even below that

Color is super subjective. I think chalk on a p car or zinc on the lotus looks great and wouldn’t mind getting that color. But it’s whatever floats your boat. I had a dark gray on my Evora GT and really liked it. I switched to Seneca blue with the Emira for something vastly different. Some...
