    Buy back vehicles

DVLA says road tax was due 18th October 2024. First registered 31st July 2023 and date of last V5C logbook issued 31st July 2023. When was yours bought back? I would have expected another change of V5C after that.

    Loss of interior lights

Any luck with this yet? Once you have the top moving can you work something down the sides that could hook it? When you've solved this you can have a go at the emergency boot pull lever flap behind the LHS seat. I found that to be difficult to the point of, like you, you think you might break...

    Buy back vehicles

Chance are what you were told is correct as it was only "some" of the cars. You should be able to get a previous owners history from DVLA that will show Lotus Cars (or similar) as the previous owner. I did this many years ago for my 1970 Europa that was owned by Lotus for 2 years.

I saw V6 cars on the production line 2 weeks ago. Ok, I wasn't paying attention if any were UK RHD models, I was just happy to see the V6s.

    Emira Limited

Emira Limited. 12.12.2024 A tribute to our Formula 1 history, a series of five iconic colourways limited to 12 cars each. Available in only 12 European markets. In honour of Ayrton Senna’s number. I wonder if the "colourways" have anything to do with the Emiras I saw at the factory a couple of...

    2025 Model Year Emira?

The wheel centre caps are very easy to change and the nose badge is slightly more involved as it's stuck on but still changeable. A few people have already changed from their original yellow badges to black because they like the look.

    2025 Model Year Emira?

They were in the distance so couldn't get a close up to see the whole car and couldn't get an overall view to gauge but they certainly didn't look out of place. Someone back in 2022 produced this in Isotope Green: https://www.emiraforum.com/media/7-isotope-green-jpg.3278/

That was me that saw the Isotope Green Emiras. I didn't see any other new colours.

    2025 Model Year Emira?

I was at the factory a couple of days ago and I saw some 2025 model Emiras on the production line and in final inspection. The only difference I could see was that they had black nose badges.

What did you do to your Emira today?

Went for my 3rd Factory tour yesterday. We've done it once a year so far. As always it was excellent and different each visit and more pertinent this time as I could go in my Emira. We saw plenty of V6's being built. Also saw some 2025 model cars with black nose badges. Very interestingly we...

Increase in road tax (VED) to hit the Lotus Emira V6

UK deliveries should be 2025 onwards. My original order was 2025 before I cancelled and got an orphan. There was a time when the Lotus configurator was saying 2026 but it's reverted to 2025. When production ends is anybodies guess these days but 2027 has been mentioned.

    26 / 5.000 Question about Ctek maintainer

I've been using it on the Car setting for my V6. The battery should be the same for the i4. The Emira manual says it's a Platinum AGM096E. In the CTEK manual the Car Normal Battery Program (14.4V/5A) is for "....and many AGM batteries". The AGM Option (14.7V/5A) is for charging most AGM...

    Manual opening of boot( trunk)

When I got my car this panel was actually open and I didn't notice for a week. When I went to put the panel back in place it is really stiff and not exactly easy to do so I can imagine it feels really hard to open it. Plus it not exactly easy to get to either!

Regarding the headlamps fogging up on the inside the handbook recommends that you wash the car by hand only. I don't understand the need for the boot lock screwdriver trick. I close the boot on the cable with the whole car locked. I've no problems with the app on android, been using it since June. I'm on a cheap Motorola G14 with 128GB storage. The app itself doesn't use much storage and cache, currently 279MB on mine. I know you've force stopped the app but have you cleared the User data and Cache? That might do something.

    Uneven tire pressure changes?

I'm seeing this for normal road use, though not by a full 1 psi. I'll set all the tyres to the correct pressure and they will match across axles sometimes but invariably the right hand side will go higher. When they do all match (after the rights being higher) I feel like I've won something...

    Emira Car Covers

Having just done an 800 mile round trip to rainy Lanark in Scotland last weekend I can understand the need for a cover!
