Thats why I initially said "I believe" it was 150 and further explained it. That is what I was actually told by a Lotus dealer at the time. Dealers say lots of things that are later proven false by someone on here with better information. If I had said it is officially 150 and stated as a fact...

Nope. just what i was told at the first test drive when asked about it. Lotus might not have even come out with anything official at that point.

I believe the maximum towing distance they will pay for is around 150 miles. This issue was a concern for me since I am 120 miles away so I asked. I dont remember exactly since I was just under it. EDIT: NOVA 15 mins later clarified in link that towing distance is unlimited.

Maybe everyone else (who had car delivered) got the Lotus survey via email. I got one asking how delivery went and asking about any issues. I wish there were more asking about communication satisfaction. Maybe theyll actually read the responses.

I think I missed it but has anyone in CARB state taken delivery or have a estimated delivery date? Where were these cars being held during CARBgate?

Did you get yours at Nashville too? I saw my car when they first got it. Had almost no swirl marks etc. When went back a few weeks later they had wiped down or washed it again, had even move of them. When took delivery it had significantly more. I dont have much confidence in their 'detail'...

Kudos to the detailer for not overselling you on ceramic. It provides no additional physical barriers from an impact hit. It does help if a chemical/poop/dirt/water spots get on the paint and adhering in first place. Much easier to wipe that stuff right off and left on for a longer period...

Thats exactly what they told me. Can never drive it to work, not one day a week, month, or year. Would not be easy to deny if I got hit outside my work building due to its not on public property. Maybe they changed that but I'd want proof in writing from them.

What did they tell you about driving the car to work? One reason I cancelled Hagerty years ago when they told me I could not drive the car to work ever (at least what the agent said). I work on a military base so cant really say I just happen to be driving thru there.

Given Lotus' past communication skills don't see this going well. Probably take 5 years to get your car as part of this program. A paint to sample would be nice at least.

Piggy backing on this mat related thread. Has Lotus made any official all weather mats for Emira or have made for Evora in past (so indicate they might for Emira)? I dont expect to drive mine in bad weather but like to put them in cars if they look good.

Get used to "is that a ferrari?". should get a sign to hold up to say "No, it is a Lotus" That spec looks great. Like the red/with silver wheels. Almost as nice looking as seneca/silver wheels. ;)
