Some good news there but they also told me my i4 build would be August, then September - I got the Enhance and Protect email in early September but nothing since then by email and the same "holding statements" on LCCS chat - they were still saying I was showing as a September build last week...

They have a load of reasonably-priced hydro and wind-powered electricity and the infrastructure to distribute it too......

They said almost exactly the same about the UK i4's that were supposed to have started being built in August (2023) and weren't.....

Can you do us UK i4 depositors a favour and check that they've started on those too please? The first UK i4 FE cars should have been September builds but it's October tomorrow and the silence is deafening.......

Bizarrely you can get a flight from Amsterdam to Norwich but not London to Norwich….. If there are rail replacement buses that weekend for even part of the route it will probably be quicker to just take the National Express bus from London Victoria…...

I said that to LCCS too - apparently now “the checkout email time is variable, and can go out at any time between a car being in build or up to 2 weeks after”… 🤷🏼‍♂️

LCCS confirmed again today that my UK i4 FE is "one of the first" and "is still showing on our system as a September build"..... 🤷‍♂️

I suspect there would be additional hardware needed as well, I.e. the radar pod that sits in the front grille area…..

New handbook version now on the Lotus Cars UK website - dated May 2023 - as well as updated V6 manual and auto stuff it includes the i4 variant, ADAS functionality (although LCCS are still saying NO ADAS on i4 FE) the hidden hole for the CarPlay cable and also references an Emira mobile app...

I have one of these - was in my Evora for 3 years and will go in my Emira when it arrives - same physical format as the Blackvue but much cheaper and works with a companion app just fine....

I suspect that some of the cooling air path is built into the underside - see Harry Metcalfe's i4 video for the fan duct location against the bulkhead and the underside exit path - even in the front-engine configuration in the A45S the Mercedes engine cover performs a similar function in ducting...

Only the i4 and V6 Auto currently get the options of coloured stitching and TDC marker on the (common to those 2 variants) "flappy paddle" wheel. The manual wheel is black Alcantara or leather only. They come from different suppliers....
