I suspect that the i4 engine cover could actually be an integral part of the cooling - in that it directs airflow from the large engine bay fan on the front engine bay bulkhead across the top of the engine and turbo.....?

There’s plenty of give in the boot (trunk) seal to simply close it on the (low voltage side) Ctek cable. Just run it to one side and avoid the latch. Car can then be fully locked and alarm set to comply with insurance requirements. I use a Ctek extension cable to run to an indoor location where...

Even if they did, it's just the little white LED reverse light that goes red instead (it does on mine - UK car) but quite bright!

I can confirm that the power to the USB port on the mirror mount is ignition switch-controlled…..

As a Norwich-based ex-staff member at AVIVA, with an AVIVA multicar policy with 2 other cars on it, they still weren't interested in covering my Emira (or it's Evora predecessor) - seems that AVIVA and some mainstream insurers simply don't want to cover non-"run of the mill stuff" any more......

I had a call from LCS this afternoon - "We know you cancelled your i4 but we have some spare cars - would you like to reconsider" "No thanks, I'm very happy with my ex-dealer demo V6 Auto which only had 248-miles on it when I collected it last October, saving me £3k on my protected i4 price...

If not warranty cover, then glass cover on your insurance might cover it (probably with a small excess if your cover is anything like we get in the UK on most policies) if you have it ??

Wouldn't the obvious choice in this scenario be the Goodyear F1 LTS spec tyres used for the Touring package (or Sport wIth Goodyear) as specified by Lotus?

Just the water ingress/HVAC fan module replacement for me....

Identical to mine before the HVAC fan resistor/control module was replaced. Known issue with water ingress - warranty fix but takes a couple of days due to the amount of front-end strip down needed to get at it……

The auto V6 does, in sport mode..... ;)

If it helps, digit 12 is set as "N" on my UK-specification V6 Auto - probably a region specification but there's no digit for gearbox type or RHD/LHD above either (Later Evoras had both fields specified - 12 was region spec and 13 was build type 1=std/2=proto but that's no real guide)...

Update on my Hethel Yellow touch up paint order from Firanto Colours - ordered Jan 6th (eBay as I'm in the UK) - delivered Jan 13th - whilst the seller is based in Lithuania the delivery was fulfilled from within the UK so only a week as opposed to the 3-4 weeks quoted in eBay. It's in a clear...

Will do but I bought mine to have if/when needed and don’t currently have a need - and will be very happy if I never do…..😉
