When you can see it I agree. My problem is they hid it too well and most of the time the car looks black or muddy. Plus I think the rocks are gunna play hell with the front of this car and that dark color is gunna show 'em off like little white spots...:( Nimbus for me.

Totally agree. I'm an old fart now and have gone through quite a few cars with manual transmissions, running up over 75k miles on most of them and have never needed a clutch replacement......wait I did have to replace the clutch on my Datsun 510 after a several day trip to Arizona in the middle...

I actually think this car looks too low! Plus every car in which I've installed Eibach suspension is "settles" after some miles have been put on the car. I'm not worried about it.

You're way ahead of me, I put my deposit down at the beginning of Sept. and yeah I was told all the FE's are done. It's only base from here out. Which may not be a bad thing for 2 reasons: first you don't have the ugly plaque on the dash..:) and 2nd if you don't fully option the car out it...

That's a really nice presentation. Lincoln sure didn't do anything like that for me! Sadly these things are big and clunky, great for a purse but not so great in a pocket.

Yep, you never know what's going to happen and toys are the first to go when times get hard. I'm actually happy I won't be getting my car till late next year. I think (at least in the U.S.) things are going to calm down a bit and we will be in a better place. And yeah you'd be crazy to sell...

I think most people who love cars are not gunna just hop in their $100k toy and hammer down. Pretty much a non-issue if you apply some common sense.

Yep good idea! My c6 had a very similar profile and the entire hood, front bumper and areas in front of the rear tires got hammered. We have a lot of quarries in our area and the rocks they fling are gunna get you no matter what you do!! I wish I could say I won't do any freeway driving but...

The dark color is gunna show every little rock chip and from the design of this car there are going to be plenty of rock chips I'm afraid. Nimbus here in part for that reason. 2nd I had a black car and where I live I had to dust it every day. I don't want to have to do that again.

Yep hard to protect against stones. I saw a time lapse of the debris field on freeways here in So Kalif and it looked like a meteor trail! I'll probably put a little PPC on the front and in front of the rear tires but that's about it.
