Have you had the most recent software updates from Lotus? I believe there have been a few over the past months. It could make a difference if you are currently on an older version.

To be honest I was a little surprised at the quoted drop in intake temps. Given the sophistication of the AMG engine, it's strange that there's so much room for improvement with the intercooler. The replacement unit would need to be considerably larger in volume to achieve that given the size...

I expect this might be a necessary pre-req for any ECU tuning beyond 400bhp if the heat rumours are to be believed. Was this a custom build for the Emira or is it a straight swap for the stock AMG M139 intercooler?

Wow - this is news to me. I'm also in the first i4 batch and my dealership have been silent on this. It sounds like la lot of work. I'll give them a call today to confirm as I'd rather be getting this done sooner rather than later.

So glad I got touring with all the driver's pack extras when I did then.

This would imply less choice than we had with the FE with driver's pack locking down the suspension choice. So there's no way to spec touring suspension with track mode, launch control, switchable exhaust any more? Or would you have to custom build that outside of the driver's pack bundle?

I rang Bell and Colvill about the update. They weren't aware of anything breaking that addresses shift times. Maybe more will emerge next week.
