Agreed. That spec was more towards a stage 2 in old money. That's quite a significant set of mods over stock. A piggyback is never going to be as effective as a proper remap but there's always a significant overhead built into turbo cars to ensure they make the advertised power in all possible...

I think it's more important in the i4 (and possibly the V6 auto). In sport mode the car is very eager to hold on to high revs so any kind of enthusiasm can easily see 5-6000rpm without even trying.

Bizarrely, I also have an RS3 8Y and I would add that the Audi pulls harder but there is definitely more turbo lag in the Audi.
