Thanks for the reply. okay, I'm going to assume Lotus will not swallow that cost? lol. Anyone having issues with Lotus applying the plate? Might just get my retention docs and then put the plate on myself... one less thing to be an issue on checkout/delivery. I want a mini front plate too...

Hi. For your number plate retention, did they charge you extra to do the swap? Looking online and it's £80 to remove it from my car... I have moved this plate between 3 cars now, but Mercedes usually do it all for me, and I have not been charged (Perhaps they do it as a courtesy). Just trying...

Hope they have not pushed you a month. Lotus emails are a bit shotgun it seems though, so might not be a delay!

I want to do a few track days a year. Is it loads more to add this to the insurance? Or better to just arrange the insurance on a track by track basis? Sorry if daft question, my first performance / track worthy car.

The sound out in the open is a good reference. I think it sounds fine. V6 is better, imo, sounds more high-end, and more of a race car. Even more so in sport mode! That i4 sounds more tinny and common around the streets. Like an aftermarket pipe. I would be happy with either, I wanted the V6...

Yeah, I would just up usually, but the link above says you should be able to prove age, I guess via passport. I can ask them, tbh, as they have dicked me about for years, made the car more expensive, and delayed me into oblivion, I think ignoring a year of a child wanting to see their factory...
