I did mine off of ramps. I took the hot side of the turbo off as well, but that was a nightmare getting the clamp back on due to the turbo coolant pipes being right next to where the clamp needs to sit. I'd definitely be trying to leave that on and going down the other suggested route. Its all...

I went with GRP for both downpipe and exhaust. I'm extremely happy with the sound, it's mad. Just need to work around the CEL.

Very interested to see how the piggyback tune goes. I have the GRP downpipe and exhaust fitted now. Its a beast!!!!!! But it does throw a CEL. So I'm working on removing this. Does anybody know why the pops and bangs disappear when the CEL is on???

The new GRP downpipe went in so easily. Everything lined up perfectly. Recommended so far.... just waiting to fit the new exhaust and then fire her up.

You can still put the car in Sport and Track mode if your only idling. That's not going to cause any issues at all.

That engine lid is awesome, but would look way better if it was finished in the same black as the black pack, so its looks factory. I'm tempted by this one.

If the only option is have GPF delete for decent sound, i reckon just go full decat pipe. Does anyone know if the AMG A45S decat downpipe is a fit?

Nice. Someone still needs how to figure out how to crack the i4 ECU though, as that will needed for this turbo to be installed. The tuning future is looking good for the turbo. Once this ECU is cracked we are going to see some big HP Emiras.

Hey. Do you have any videos/sound clips of your exhaust set up? Also, is it only the downpipe that can cause the engine check light to come on? ie, if you had a downpipe with a sports cat plus a straight through exhaust would you still get an engine check light? Cheers

That Valvetronic is a cool exhaust, but it's for the V6 not the Turbo that you have set this thread up for. The best Emira Turbo exhaust I have heard so far is from a straight through exhaust, but it's going to be pretty loud. I'm very interested to hear more sound clips from various...

You should go the go dealer and get the codes read, I guarantee that you have something on there. Hopefully cancelling all those codes will get the launch control working.

Do you have any warning lights on? My launch control wasn't working until I had all the codes reset. You may even have had a warning light come on and go out and now need resetting.

Your 411hp sounds way more aggressive than my 360hp. Wow. That turbo sound is definitely more noticeable as well. I need a tune!

Does it feel the same though.... the bhp on that power bar may not ever show the correct hp. It may only go up to 360 even when your running 500hp, as it could be linked to throttle position (for example).

Hey, Can we buy from anywhere?

Just trying to work out if the A45 AMG downpipes and induction kits fit in the Emira. As that will be my next buy. I'll hold off on the exhaust until I have more sound clips/videos and a few more to choice from.

There are videos of both of those systems. But to be honest they don't sound that much better than the standard exhaust.
