Don't engage. This gent loves to remind us that he dodged a bullet. Has bought and sold several cars recently (an R8 I think) and somehow has the time to be all over this forum. #hasnothingbettertodo
It's a pain. It's a massive pain. Did I say it's a pain?
Unless you are under 30, handy and willing to go through it...leave it stock (engine/exhaust etc). I won't do it again.
But there is no final edition announced. Is this like a good faith deposit if something is announced? I ask because I'd like to do something like that but Boardwalk is unaware of any new versions.
I do share the feeling of later is better with the Emira. Heck, at this point some of us in the Base camp may be able to simply roll over our deposit towards a sportier S/R version.
Interesting. I'm bored of new BMWs. I'm sure they are faster but are they more engaging? I guess I'll have to watch the video.
I'm selling F80 and E82. Incoming Carrera T for daily and Emira...well...whenever it arrives!
And depreciation is modest. Maybe because owners barely drive them. I'll try to remind myself it's just a car and drive it properly. If I sacrifice resale value, so be it .
I'll keep the allocation for the Emira. The T will be daily. In an ideal world, Lotus would announce an S/R version and I could get in line even if it was 25-26 timeframe. Let's see. But I'm still in!
