Rarity, I don't really car about resale value. There seem to be sufficient parts for Elise/Exige/Evora and I don't think it will get that dire for the Emira for non powertrain parts.

You can totally do it yourself with some patience and a orbital machine or whatever they are called (Griots garage has some decent ones). Not rocket science whatsoever. The PPF does seem involved.
