I call it the "Porsche spec". I've owned over a dozen different Porsches over the years and I know its not everyone's cup of tea but I love silver with black interior. This is my first Lotus and I love the look of the Os Silver with blackpack and black interior.

If your not enthusiastic enough to row your own gears, just get a Porsche w/ PDK. Its a far superior gearbox to the Lotus clunk-O-matic.

I can't really wrap my head around this comparison?? These cars and their buyers are SO different. I can't imagine anyone is cross shopping a hybrid corvette and an "old school" analog Emira.

As a fighter pilot, the Emira start switch and cover are nothing like any switch gear in any 3rd 4th or 5th gen fighters I've flown. The start switch is easy to use...Put you hand on the console and slide you right thumb under the cover and press.

I wouldn't go so far as say "toxicity"....Disappointment maybe at one less manual not being brought into this world. Yea.

Doesn't matter if the owner never intends to sell. Things can certainly change but I see no viable alternative to the Emira now or ever esp given the trend towards electrification.

No one "needs" an Emira. Its a 2nd, 3rd or umpteenth car. So what if there's a wait and Lotus' delivery process has been disappointing. I look at it this way. ICE cars are dying and the Emira is the end of an era. To have the last ICE Lotus is worth the wait. Besides my other several cars...
