I do like the idea of having something that isn't everywhere but my unique comment was more about the car itself. The sound is unique, the looks are unique, and the steering feel is unique to me. All that wrapped in a mid engine manual. You should be pretty exclusive in a town of 150K.

I think it will take Lotus a year or so to iron out the electrical issues. I have seen this before with smaller brands launching their first "electrical" vehicle. Software, electrical components, etc. will eventually get smoothed out.

DV was my immediate first choice for the Emira and that hasn't changed. Since the new colors were announced I am now strongly considering Vivid, Silver Wheel, Yellow Caliper. Anyone else being tugged from DV by one of the new colors?

I have always done a service after the break in miles usually at my expense. And with all the electronics on modern cars I find a trickle charger mandatory for a non daily driver.
