I don't have an i4 so can't offer much help, but I think it would be good to make sure all four (?) connectors are actually connected. Pushed all the way in? No pins bent or broken from previous unsuccessful attempts to connect? Did you remove any other cables during install? Anything melting...

I am assuming you are referring to the "S111 Harness Hardware" kit. Is this kit needed / recommended on the Emira, or was the picture used for illustrative purposes to answer my question about stacking order?
