Yea, I agree with that. It's very easy if you are driving along a somewhat sizable highway. We went to a pretty rural lake for a weekend and the closest supercharger was 30 miles away. That made my wife a little nervous but it was not too bad.

I actually prefer a Tesla for road trips. The self driving capabilities makes it much more relaxing to drive while still paying attention and being aware. The rest stops every 2-3 hours takes a little longer so the entire trip does take longer, but in my experience, I come away much less tired.

I've never noticed that. I don't think you can listen to the system at 50% unless you are parked and engine off... I generally only listen at 80% volume or higher when driving. That said, I am not sure why the system would behave that way. Maybe there is some volume-dependent gain settings...

Previously, Lotus provided a list of VINs to the dealers with their current status. There was no question as soon as the production was planned and assigned to a confirmed order. It's possible that your production is scheduled, but they are trying to match you up with another production VIN...
