I was V6 manual Zinc Grey, black pack, black alloys red calipers, black with red stitch Alcantara. I think what you’re suggesting is what will sadly happen. I’ll have to compromise on exterior colour

No production stopped, I apparently was one of sixteen people to miss out, I was originally scheduled for delivery Q1 2024 I did the protection and enhancement also sent private registration details but my vehicle never materialised. I was then informed that I wouldn’t get my vehicle until 2026.

I was told on Friday (by Lotus) the V6 is returning. It’ll be interesting to see if it does

Yeah I got all the emails……but they never built the car!

It appears the UK paint warranty has changed from 5years to 3years. One screenshot from 9th October and the other today.

Production of UK V6s should restart in 2025 with estimated delivery in 2026, that’s all they will say.

100% that’s where I am, I desperately wanted to buy a new Lotus and support the brand. I spec’d my Lotus and was happy to pay over the top for a new car(I don’t do much else, I’m a pretty boring individual) but unfortunately Lotus don’t want to build my car so I have no option. I’m not prepared...

I’ve seen no change in insurance, as I’m still waiting for Lotus Cars to decide if/when they will build it im checking regularly on insurance prices.

I had a car loaned to me by Lotus, V6 manual registration on 24plate build date unknown. It only had 300miles when I collected it but I had to wait as it was having its doors replaced

Interestingly looking around on other Lotus forums it would seem they’re not very competitive

I did use sport a bit, it sounded better. The car was loaned to me by Lotus it only had 300miles so I treated it respectfully(they said I could use sport mode when I collected). Having never owned a sports car before I kinda understood it would be fast so was more interested in how economical it...

I only had an Emira for a couple of days, I drove just under 200miles and averaged just on 30mpg.

I’m unsure if paint is 5years, or 5years in addition to the original 3year warranty totalling 8years on paint. I posted warranty screenshot above
