I agree the tariffs screwed them. And I agree with going electric (I have a deposit on a type 135). It’s the super heavy SUV and Sedan that don’t make sense to me. You’re right, all the manufacturers are doing it. Maybe it’s that the execution doesn’t align with the company’s core values.

In Canada the base v6 is 5k more than the first edition. 15-20k with options. I think our FE was actually priced too cheap - less than the US FE plus exchange. Seems they’ve fixed that.

I’ve had brake fade from hot pads. However I wouldn’t describe that as causing a vibration. The brakes just stopped working very well. Maybe that’s something different.

Sounds to me like the rotors are heating up, distorting, then cooling down and contracting back to normal. I’m not an experienced track guy and I’m not sure if that’s actually possible. Best theory I’ve got though.

Seems like a lot of work just to get your gas cap fixed.

That’s what I did with my 7000TL. I was a little nervous to use a non-official jack point, but it worked fine.

It just occurred to me there was a price increase early on after Matt Windle said there wouldn't be, so maybe a poor example. At a dealer level, they made it clear to me they weren't committing to a price until they could be sure.
