I really don’t like the font used for Emira. The S1 Elise font still looks contemporary. Had anyone got ‘Emira’ written in the S1 Elise font?

Don’t think that’s correct. They wanted to make 5000 per year, at least initially. Car went on sale end of 22. The UK market is choked with barely used cars, many of which were sold by Lotus in bulk, to non franchised dealers. As such, residuals have taken quite a hit with one year old cars...

Sales have not been as Lotus had hoped. The SE version is about to launch and it must make production ‘slightly’ easier, to deal with one engine and gearbox rather than two engines and three boxes. I anticipate the V6 ending soon.

I asked about a convertible at Goodwood. It’s 100% NO. Something about the location of the side airbags (not in the doors) and how the roof would need reengineering at massive cost.

How weird not to fit/code a conventional fuel gauge.

FAO original poster/ In 2023 the Mrs and I went to La Clusaz in France in my 2021 M440 cab. I ran Waze via CarPlay all the time. Every toll stop knocked out the Car Play connection to my iPhone. Sometimes it took a few mins before I could reconnect. So it’s not just a Lotus issue.

Not yet worked out how to get the odo showing miles on the dash permanently either

Silly question, to avoid the self humiliation of reading the manual. Can you get the dash to show traditional fuel level gauge as opposed to miles till empty?

Can’t see anything about those codes. Dealer has cleared them but I was hoping someone may have up to date experience?

I contacted an OPC about a 911 I’m interested in. I wondered what the discount available might be- used car- given the current climate. It’s fair to say they were not minded to talk of 4 figure discounts. The chap I spoke to sounded like he was having a seizure when I suggested it.

If one of these gets advertised with low miles before Xmas, I’ll pay £58k. I think once these are sub £60k they look like real value. Past Xmas I’ll be hoping to pay closer to £55. My understanding is dealers won’t bid at all and just want SOR.

This car is a total outlier. Lotus are going electric fast. New cars built in China. This car is almost a holdover from the past. I wonder what the people advertising lightly used cars in the classifieds are feeling about their asking price?

So, given Lotus dealers won’t buy them from private sellers, that leaves the outlet for them as Motorway, CarWow and the like or finding a private sale. The volume of cars currently for sale must really be demoralising if you want to sell now.

From what I’ve read, the Touring chassis may work better for my use. That’s a cheap example but still £12k over WBAC. I don’t know if there is much clamour in the private market for one of these at £70k.
