Do you mean 4/5/6 rather than 6/7/8? I was advised to be at circa 2k immediately after an upshift to avoid what’s been described as a rattling or lugging (there are posts on this topic), which resolved it for me.

I can’t say enough good about the true steering wheel buttons from GRP. They eliminate the inadvertent swipe, look and feel fantastic, are a better-matched black instead of grey, and are backlit. (And you get rid of the most obvious Volvo parts bin item)

The wait is torture but the pain is instantly replaced with euphoria the moment you hold the key. By the way, which dealer are you buying from?

For dust and ease of install, very much so. As to grabbiness, it’s a little much at the moment but I’ll likely adapt with more drive time (I’m just 120 miles in, and have a little muscle memory to get past), and curious to see whether any of the bite abates with use.

Mine was in this shipment, arrived at the dealer today, 10 days later. And seeing it fresh off the transport (with all the protective wrappings attached) made every minute of the 2 year wait worth it.
