Better is a loaded term. It’s an option. Some will like the feel of the sportier transmission some, like me, wanted the sound and visible engine. If they make an AWD hybrid with the i4 similar to the BMW i8 I’d switch.

I know that they are delivering V6 auto FE’s in Q4 and they are MY 2024 for a December delivery. Seems odd but if you wanna worry about depreciation get a McLaren and freak all the way out.

Did the VIN & Shipping notice come from Lotus or the dealer?

I’ve heard similar regarding V6 auto production times.

Is 5 months from submitting order to factory to receiving VIN what others have experienced? What about those that recently submitted orders like from a new Dealership?

Doubt it…..I just confirmed my order with the factory last week.

That’s common in the exotic sales industry, however I’ve only really seen it done on like a Porsche GT3 RS or other ultra desirable exotic because they have a contract to not sell new cars over MSRP but with used, anything goes.

For all those that just recently submitted and received their cars. I think people are calling them FE 2.5? How long has your wait been from the time you submitted the build to the factory to delivery? I’m assuming that the factory running at full speed is churning them out.

Same. I’ve heard from the dealership that automatics are being made. Those in line can expect to submit orders in the next month or 2 as MY 2024’s. Granted they were talking about folks who were already in line but got skipped for the manual orders.

Is anyone in NA experiencing the seat rubbing on the plastic lip? I’ve seen posts on other groups and people are “fixing” with weather stripping. Checking if maybe Lotus addressed that issue on current production vehicles.

Does anyone recall a posting, can’t even remember which thread, but the OP had outlined the rear vents in black. I think it was a HY Emira with black outlines. If my memory serves it looked good.
