Yeah, I’d been asking about switching to a V6 to get one sooner, but not committed, so suspect that’s what’s happened - hard to believe that they’ll be delivering I4s this year.

Confirmed - I had misunderstood - won’t get the car quicker if I switch to a V6🙁. I’ll put my optimist back in his box. Now where was that thread about what car to get to fill the gap?…😜

With positive reviews on Top Gear of the Emira and MC20 in back to back weeks I would love to hear a comparison of them from Chris Harris.

A friend shared this with me yesterday, I’m guessing taken at Hethel.

I got a swift reply from Lotus Customer Care who confirmed that my email means delivery sometime in 2023, they’ll confirm a date early 2023😢 (11th July order) I also chased access to the configurator for my I4 FE and they sent me a link (along with a request for another £3k).

I4 FE - not been contacted to select my configuration yet (don’t think any I4 FE folks have?).

Now I’ve calmed down and read it again, I don’t know whether it’s saying they hope my car will be completed early 2023, or in early 2023 they will confirm when it will be completed (so could be December 2023). I’ve emailed them to get clarification.

When did you place your order?

I put my deposit down 11th July, holding out for an i4. Just received this from Lotus. Probably means another year wait😬. Think I’ll get something else in the meantime.

Shadow grey not too popular - I’m the only person who’s indicated they’re going for it so far. And I’m only picking it because it’s the best base for a custom wrap😂

Just got my call (put my deposit down on 11th July). After confirming I wanted to wait for an i4, the call was over in less than 60 seconds - I’ll have to wait for a callback - probably end of the year / new year to spec my car😢

I love the GT4 look, so I’ve decided to go all in and put a livery on the car as soon as I get it. So shadow grey base for me.

That’s good news. Maybe we should be more demanding - anyone else disappointed at lack of a V8 option?😜

I picked up two bits of additional information for the reps there: 1) expectation is that we will be able to spec the TDC stripe on the steering wheel on FEs. 2) i4 FE is expected to be priced at £75k on the road.
