This doesn't look like the usual blistering problem. It looks more like a surface preparation issue before painting. I wonder if the car had some paint repair done before delivery . . . it happens much more often than most people realise.

Mine isn't great either. The Lotus one isn't perfect, but the Aerie one has a worse alignment. I suspect you don't notice it unless you're looking for it.

This is exactly what the Lotus Tech CEO said they'd be doing on the investor earnings call. He said that their profit margin on Emira is not good, so they will be using offerings like limited editions to try and improve it.
