Nice spec. Have you engaged the auto park brake in the car settings. Useful feature for hill hold. Works for me.

I’ve had my centre console fixed completely. If you put your finger in the gap below the round ventilation buttons, it should stop. It’s where the bottom console and centre console meets.

The only slight rattle I can hear is when say you’re in a higher gear and you’re going too slow for that gear. Ie turning a 90 degree uphill junction in 2nd gear, It makes a rattle and sounds like a chain not being taught because you’re in the wrong gear. Does this sound like yours?

My sandpaper hands are tougher than the gear knob itself. After a week, I noticed metal filings at the base of the leather gater. Now it’s all nice and smooth.

I had bird crap on mine too and it really did etch the paintwork. So much so that polish could not take it out. There was a mark afterwards. Like you had to machine polish with someone compound.

They just need to reset/reboot it. The engineer came out to mine too. Basically he told me it’s gone into sleep mode because of the battery status of the back up battery. With no usage from factory, it shuts down. Pity the factory/dealer don’t reset it on PDI and trickle charge.

Totally agree with you, I can fix it myself but I don’t want to in case in the event of an accident, they may say I’ve modified the seatbelt. I want Lotus to acknowledge the fault and fix it even if the dealer said it’s normal. Maybe I need to ring customer services and ask why?

Dealer confirmed it is meant to be like this. Rightly or wrongly, why is it twisted? There must be a reason. Im just curious, doesn’t bother me as long it is correct. By the way, the label faces inwards at the base of the seat.

My apple car play would freeze now and again. But only the sound to the music (Spotify). The Google maps and everything else would work. I think it’s something to do with the volume buttons on the steering. Fix is to turn car on/off and leave. Only happens occasionally.

Well, I open the front bonnet yesterday and had to reach over (because I’m short) was concerned about scratching the panels. Things are never the same when all the panels and parts are dismantled.

With regards to the wipers. Latest update from the dealer is that they are waiting for new wiper motors to come in and yes there are delays. The software needs to be done together with the new motor apparently.

Did you option the tracker on your Emira? It’s an optional extra.

Yes some sort of angled louvre on the wheel side to minimise dirt but not to stop pressure build up in the arches or blank them out from the back, I’m not sure if they are functional.
