I've had a price from Topaz and full car is £5400 but an extra £600 for the rear diffuser. They're not the cheapest by any stretch of the imagination but I've used them several times in the past and the quality of the workmanship is second to none and because I'm really fussy about these things...

The GT Porsche cars are not about drag times. There are plenty of cars that will beat them off the lights. Aside from the long gearing (on the GT4) you'll struggle to find a more engaging car to drive either on the road or on track.

The blue car used for most 'launch/reveals' looks as good, if not better in person. The grey car that actually has an engine sounds great but in my opinion is far less interesting to look at.

I'm as frustrated you are, like most other depositors probably are, but sometimes you've just got to accept that it's out of your hands. It's not a small financial purchase by any means but you could spend the same amount on a new M3 and you'll still be a cog in a machine that's driven by targets.

I think these things can easily build a form of annoyance as a customer but we are in the unfortunate situation (as consumers) where Lotus have the upper hand. They've produced a high demand car in a market that you'll struggle to even buy any new car in and have a waiting list of willing...

TBF if I can change the spec without any delay then I don't really mind how Lotus make me feel about it. Without wanting to sound selfish, I'm only interested in getting the car I want as soon as possible and at least I don't have to play the Porsche/Ferrari game where you can't even buy the car...

I was told on my phone call that I was around 1500-1600th deposit and after drop outs and I4/Base spec people I was probably 800 in the queue. I placed my deposit on 11th July

Ah, the good old high revving VTEC engine. I had an Integra Type R. Only a 188 BHP and raw as hell but what a great engine. Fair play to you for making the most of yours, the VTEC engines can take some serious abuse!

Cheers! The GTR was incredible (I sold it last month). The colour is certainly bold but I found that even cyclists smiled at it whereas the GT4 just got the typical disapproving shake of the head 😂
