    Got a call from Summit NJ - the car is here! I went to check it out, and talk about the options. Ray informed me that they are aware of a couple of issues that the cars might have - the A/C running on high speed and the power steering pump issues. If there are issues they will be addressed...

    What is the spec on your Emira? They have a couple of Hethel Yellows, a couple of Seneca Blues, a couple of Nimbus Greys, a Shadow Grey, and a Zinc Grey, and I think a Dark Verdant.

    When I talked to my dealer he mentioned that too. Looks like the first batches of FE1.0 cars were shipped and stored while the CARB cert was happening, in the meantime, the FE2.0 cars were produced and sent overseas, and now these cars are last in first out.

    I just stopped by Summit, NJ dealership. They have 3 Emiras ready for the customer pickup. The cars are coming.

    I wonder if Summit, NJ dealer will do the same. I’m pretty positive the Newark/Elizabeth port has a PDI facility on site - that’s how they process BMW for instance - so not sure if it makes any sense for the NJ dealer(in my case) to send the car to MD and back for PDI.

    Got the vin assigned mid January, the car has been discharged in Newark port on March 29th.

    My BMW were always offloaded in the Elizabeth/Newark port. But BMW uses Wallenius Wilhelmsen to ship their cars.

    There was an incident in Baltimore port involving a large ship that collided with a bridge destroying it. Terrible news for those who lost their loved once as a result of this. We might wait for our cars a bit longer.

    They didn’t. if it’s the boat that sailed off on the 19th, it will be in Baltimore on the Fools Day, if it’s on the next boat that leaves around now that will make it to Baltimore on April 8th.

    Just received an email from my dealer in Summit, NJ - my car is inbound on a ship! I have a FE1.0 in a CARB state.
