It’s my understanding sports suspension is an extra on base car, which is enticing me further to take it on FE to maximise value at resell time

Interesting to read, as jump from pre 400 was huge and I was happy with that box, so to hear it improved even further to the 410 is great to hear.

Just ensure it’s for Evora 400 onwards as the S1 Evora was slower to change gear from pull of paddle It will be the same box , but as I have mentioned above it’s as good as Jag F type and AMG GT box, so all good.

Great cars

If I could choose between base car and FE with same delivery dates I would go base car all day long especially with wider paint colour choice. However I’m impatient, so I expect like others will be forced to pay extra for FE even though we don’t want half the upgrades.

With potentially so many FE orders I wonder if they will expand colour choice before base car release

Had the roof wrapped on my original Evora . First attempt by dealer left some original paint showing through at edge so had to be removed and replaced again. This time it was OK. From memory it was around £600 7 years ago incl doing sills. Wraps may have come on since then but I can’t...

Cheers Tom. Hmmm got me thinking now as was going to go touring, but just slightly stiffer than 4xx I had is more than acceptable and I expect will be deemed a plus point at resale time as will be a chargeable extra above base cars vs touring which is standard ?

Did anyone from Lotus give a comparison of ride of the Emira vs Evora then, as I found my 400 perfect on UK roads so would be good to know if that compares to sport or touring setup ?

Have owned a few Exiges up to the Sport 380 but never reached the giddy heights of the cup 430. Love the Exiges but in reality for fast road use my Evoras were better planted , so expect the Emira to be the same. The Exiges were much better on track vs Evora , so I really don’t see the Emira...

Had a 997 GT3 CS and whilst an amazing car, on the road the only way to get a buzz from it was to drive it hard at which time some really silly speeds were being obtained. Enjoyed my 2 Evoras more on the road, so road use Emira all day long, for track work without doubt the GT3, no contest.

Just the Elan Plus 2 which took me 3 years to find a decent one.

Not sure if same AMG gearbox but I found my Evora 400 auto to be very similar to the auto in my old AMG GT. I expect I will go V6 auto again for the Emira

Recognise a few users from other forums. Have owned 9 Lotus to date, so a bit of a fanboy. Managed to get an early deposit down so looking to finalise spec of V6 FE after viewing car for first time at dealer on 12th Oct. Exciting times (y) cheers Dave
