I have had this issue one time - a very rough cold start. I gave it a light throttle and the rev went up. It stayed at 1.5k for 3 seconds and went back to 1k normal idle.

I'm fine with it but have never flipped the cover to start the car. My finger can simply go through the cover.

Zinc Grey does look a bit too flat imo, while other colors pop out much more. But hands down I would still take the Emira over a Electre. I think there are still many orphaned Emiras around sitting at the deals' lot. Maybe you can try get one in different colors?

Have had the car for 2 weeks and I think the interior quality is fine. It's pretty good for a Lotus but still nowhere near Porsche, Audi and BMW. I have a very loose driving mode selector switch and the shifter cable resonates while accelerating. The quality of the leather is not what you would...

Aftermarket coilovers are designed to be height adjustable and they usually come with higher spring rate and adjustable damper. The stock suspension is not.

I don't think it's a good idea to simply reduce the travel while keeping the same spring rate.

I wonder why the battery in the Emira is draining so fast while other cars have no problems with sitting there for several weeks.. Don't they use the same battery?

Update: test drove with a service advisor today and confirmed the noise. Scheduled a service appointment next week to have the shifter checked by a technician.

Done. 15% on the side is still slightly lighter than the privacy glass. But pretty happy with the looks and significantly reduced the heat.

JUBU replaced the ECU for the tune. Not sure the same can be done to the i4 thou

The ECU of the M139 is locked and no one has successfully cracked the ECU yet. It will have much more tuning potential if the ECU can be flashed.

Even McLaren P1 can be converted to a spider.. It's definitely doable but will be super expensive if you want high quality work.

Not sure how long the battery in the Emira would last, but my other cars' batteries could last 8 weeks. 3 weeks should be safe imo

I tried to pair my phone today. But it popped up "vehicle must be turned on to activate phone tag". But my car was up and running already. Did you get this message?

Also noticed this ticking noise while driving my car to the tint shop and back. It's not terrible but still kind of annoying. Everything is loud in this car, therefore making this noise less noticeable. Will talk to the dealer about this tomorrow and see if they have any better idea.

I didn't get it with the car either. My dealer told me it's in back order and don't know when it's gonna be in stock..

I did 15% tint on the side windows and 50% on the wind shield. The shop told me 15% would match the privacy glass. Car is still at the shop. Will report back when it's done.

I was interested in the Z06 as well. How's the Z06 market doing right now? How long is the waitlist? I saw some of the Z06 without Z07 package were going on sale at MSRP.

1000 miles seems so far away :( I'm only at 40 miles and the car is sitting in a tint shop for ppf and window tint for a week.

I saw some Chinese Lotus dealers are taking orders for Emira X. It's supposed to be road legal version of the GT4.
