Low fuel always comes paired with the yellow triangle. Do you have a triangle illuminated or a engine warning light? Triangle alone should never light up according to the manual, but it happened to me before. A few minutes of downtime did reset it.

An option is to just drive a few meters until you end up in limp mode which seems to override the flap into the always open position 😂

Pretty sure they never provided them on delivery. Took delivery in Jan and was only provided with the corresponding maps, manuals were delivered later via DHL. You’re better of with the online version anyway, at least the German printed is outdated and the translation awful.

It’s software issues, mostly clears itself after the ECU did a reboot. Book an appointment for software updates, there was something released recently. Hope it takes care of it. I’m 10k kilometers in and had all kind of issues. Buckle in, it’s a wild ride. BUT It’s well worth it.

This is probably the message you saw (localized). Had the same issue, including not being able to start. Locking and leaving the key range for a few minutes (Which gets the ECU to fully shutdown) solved it.

Don't clear the codes, especially if you run into codes related to the O2 sensor. If the ECU detects it's sending bogus data it might ignore it and default to fail-safe values. Might include limp mode or rough operation, but protects the engine. At least that's the logical thing I'd expect to...

Try reading the live data using the OBD Dongle, look for Fuel Trim, and see if it reports jumps on that bank. If it does, read the live data of the O2 sensors. Mine showed faulty data there even before ECU codes were raised. "Car Scanner" for iOS (Or Mac, way easier to read) has a live data...

I was just updated to the latest versions on all systems on my last visit (before the issues started) and honestly I’ll not take a "clear codes and go" this time 😂 I dropped it off today and told them not to rush it, check everything throughout and we’ll see

Speaking of a weird map, anyone else with a random hole in first somewhere like 1500-1700 (guessed) rpm? Noticeable when gently accelerating from a stop with someone slow in front. Basically holds of accelerating for something that feels like a second and then pulls out of it

This time they will, I’ll make sure of that. I could imagine a bad ground somewhere. The variety of issues this time basically limits it to a ground issue, a short somewhere or an ECU fault. I won’t take the car back without a good explanation so let’s see where this goes..

Well it was fun while it lasted. Throwing new codes, limp mode, parking brake service, didn’t want to start, etc. Guess it’s time for an ECU replacement and harness check -_- Dropping it tomorrow for the 5th or 6th time at the dealers..

Car is back an home and, arguably, runs better than ever. Absolute smooth idling and no more hiccups. Of course my opinion is biased, but glad it got sorted relatively quickly (y)

Never had that happen in 10k kilometers on any petrol station. Overflowing sounds like a pump issue I'd say.

Apparently it’s a custom Bosch one. My dealer couldn’t find another one matching except from Lotus itself.

Update to who's interested: Dealer confirmed it's the O2 sensor. Apparently, there was some communication with Lotus HQ too. Mechanic said they have to get approval from HQ before starting any work since they want to know everything about problems found - guess that's a good thing. New...

I’ve been towed + gotten a rental by / via RSA in Germany already, so definitely available. They’re throwing a tantrum now because this time it wasn’t towed by them, so I’m not fulfilling their requirements I guess. It’s not that I’m in dare need of that rental, but it’s just plain ridiculous
