I got it on my Lincoln but only because we bought the "Black Label". It almost makes it worth putting up with the rock hard seat bottoms......almost.

Pretty sure you missed the intent of my comment. If money was a problem we wouldn't be buying these toys. But only a fool would pass on an opportunity to get the same thing for less money.

I had a c6z06 for 12 fun years and I drove the pants off it, but there is no way on the street to explore the upper limits of the Corvette. I doubt I'll get to the upper limit of the Emira either but my guess/hope is that I'll be able to use more of it than the Vette. I'm after that balance...

Well that's a drag. Did the Dealer ask for that 2nd deposit? I dunno if it is just my Dealer but the initial deposit is refundable and once you actually place an order everything becomes Not-refundable.
