It's not the motor, it's the resistor pack. Same as the other HVAC issue. It comes in a variety of symptoms and problems. Mine for example was stuck on a slight breeze IF it worked and went 9000° foot area only.

It might be in the interior. Back window, bottom edge. You can wedge you fingers between the glass and trim. Try having your passenger pull on the trim and see if it does something to the sound. There’s some foamy like blocks in there, probably to insulate the trim from vibrations. Sounds like...

Since the O2 sensors weren't up to temp immediately after starting, the car probably ran a bit rich (?). That would smell unpleasant. Wouldn't worry too much about it. However, I'd worry about the car redlining on its own... that's a bit scary

I think he refers to the "wiggle" room even when in gear. It's the same as before without the kit installed in my case. I also think it's a bit more "wiggly" compared to other sporty cars, for me compared to the i30n. However, my shop says some adjusting of the cable could be made to reduce it...

My area of conflict wasn't related to the adjustment used at all. It might be due to slight differences in the initial shifter cable adjustment from the factory, if I understood GRP correctly.

Makes absolute sense. At least on my car free-revving has a soft limit at some lower RPMs, unless you push the clutch in. I think it's mandatory on new cars in Germany. Not so sure if the clutch bypass is legal... :LOL:

I overpressured mine and parked the car for 4-5 months and they barely dropped pressure. 0.3 loss after a few days on one tyre only is not normal.

It's the other way around for me. Cold starts almost never end up in this bug. It's triggered more often after parking for 1-2 hours. In this case the infotainment is still somewhat ready and immediately available when opening the door instead of the usual loading delay

it's happening to cars on the other side of the pond too. The problem was first introduced by a software update months ago. Might have been present before that update, but that update started triggering it regularly.
