@Porter , thanks. Too technical for me, but it appears because of this silencer design, removing the secondary cat could prove to be futile. You may need an entire silencer change to make a significant difference

@Eagle7 agree If there’s no big noticeable difference, it’s not worth risking the warranty

Is it possible that a design change could mean removing the secondary cat won’t be as dramatic as it was when removed from North American Evora’s. Judging by the video and comment above, Andreino14 said it wasn’t much louder with the straight pipe

Thanks, the reason for asking is that the website hasn’t been updated yet to reflect the soon to arrive V6 Auto engine spec, Some separate Auto numbers were there before, but then disappeared

Yes, I get that, would’ve thought that a competent technician from the AA would be able to investigate the root cause. impractical to have to keep sending cars back to dealerships. Edit. I am forgetting the tub design would completely hide everything, not easy to see from underneath the source

yes I think there were some, There were certainly finished LHD cars which were not destined for China

I get that, when I was on a recent factory tour the clock was indicating 15 cars, which I was told should mean cars produced that day/shift. There was still time for a few more to be completed

Won’t be that many. But I heard they were picking up pace, Could be a hundred a week planned for production I may have misunderstood the exact amount, but things are definitely moving along and Autos will start next month

The production seems to be picking up pace, There must be about 100 cars per week leaving the factory now First V6 Autos should go into production next week, so we should start to get a bit more content and reviews coming in from those shortly

I was there last week. No V6 Autos spotted. There were a couple of i4’s

They have a Nimbus with red Interior as a demo car at the factory, had a ride in it last week. Great spec

This one is apparently the official lotus one, it looks nothing like the fitted one they remove when they reveal cars to customers for the factory pick up. That fits like a glove, from the photos the outdoor one looks a similar fit The one used in this photo isn’t worth anywhere 500 GBP

As per my post yesterday, the ones I saw at the factory on Wednesday were validation prototypes going to China
