Good to see everyone this morning. A mix of Lotus models today. Shows that Emira owners are both serial and parallel Lotus owners. Plenty of chat about the cars, trips that have been made and a few issues that have been experienced.

Sorry to hear that. This may be a granny and sucking eggs comment but have you tried the lock up and come back in 20 mins approach? Seems to clear spurious issues sometimes.

I have had the wiper motor changed already but I still got the letter today. Good to know everyone affected is getting contacted.

4000 miles in and I have a coupLe of witness marks in the PPF on the bonnet area where rocks have been bounced off the car. No other marks in the PPF anywhere else on the car that I can see.

I don’t know about fully restored but I don’t think it should have that badge on the side of it. #fortheanoraks

Doesn’t that only make sense if there is a maximum allowable driver weight? At the end of the day, if there is a crash it’s the seat belt that is holding the driver in place and needs to be accordingly rated. Not sure an extra 20kg would make that much difference.
