Technically, yes. In practice, it would depend what you were trying to claim for under warranty. Eg: If your suspension falls off then the exhaust is irrelevant. If your engine blows up, that’s more problematic.

Why would you do that? Getting rid of it altogether would be the easiest and cheapest way to do that. There are already 3rd cat eliminator pipes available.
