Water based paints are mandatory since 2007, but maybe the stuff they are using since then got worse over time 🤷🏻‍♂️

Good question. Maybe it‘s a fuse box cover. I think there is a fuse box in the passenger foot well. On my car I only found a screw laying around in the drivers side door pocket. I hope that Lotus delivered it as a spare part like IKEA does it 🤷🏻‍♂️

You're right, it "fixed" itself. Just took 40 minutes or so and then the charger stated that the battery is fully charged and switched to maintenance mode.

I did exactly this setup on my car now and measured 13,0V on the connecting cable. However if I connect my Noco Genius 5 to the battery, it states that the battery is empty and starts charging. I selected AGM on the charger. Has anybody an idea what's wrong there?

On my car you can simply let the tailgate fall down from roughly 10cm of height and it closes with a nice, positive sound. If yours doesn’t behave like that, it needs some adjustment ;) probably not only the bump stops, but also the latch.
