Same. I have an 11/21 deposit and still no idea when I will get my car. Happy for those getting them, but the order they are being delivered in is ridiculous.

It also matters because Lotus promised all the US V6 automatics and I4’s would be MY 2025. They sent an email to the deposit holders claiming this. So it would be good to know if they are sticking to their promise or just doing more Lotus things.

I was told by my dealer last week that US V6 automatic deliveries won’t begin until the end of the year. I posted about it in the USA/Canada deliveries thread. I’d love to see him proven wrong, but I’m not hopeful given the rollercoaster we’ve all been on these last few years.

There has definitely been a little toxicity towards those who chose automatics, but in general this has been a very welcoming and friendly forum.

I asked about a week or so ago. I was told August to September for the first V6 auto deliveries to start arriving. This is the same thing I was told 6 months ago, so I took it as "we have no new information from Lotus".

I don't understand why some of you feel it is so necessary to gatekeep those who ordered autos. People who ordered autos aren't trying to tell the manual owners they made a bad choice; they are just saying it isn't for them for whatever personal reasons they have. Let it go and let them enjoy...

Every older manual car I have ever had does this to some degree. Older Alfas, Ferraris, Corvettes, etc. I’ve never owned a ”modern” manual, so if I experienced this in an Emira I would just think it was normal.
