Thanks @kitkat! Because scanning the VINs in this most recent shipment, there are many differences in the "check digit" prior to the RH and for the character after the RH (in the 12th position) I see either A or B in everyones' VINs. So I was wondering about that.

Curious, probably answered before but in my search I couldn't come up with it. Does anyone have a correct VIN decoder? If not, does anyone know the decode for the characters before and after the RH?

Agree with @DF_Toronto on his comments about @Nova ! Thanks for the VIN list for this most recent shipment, and YESSSSS my VIN is there!. My dealer last week informed me that as of 5/7 my car was "on the water", so while I was taking it with a grain of salt, if true then two possibilities...

Probably been answered before but how long is the crossing approximately? Reason I ask is I was told my car was on the water as of May 7. Worst case if that means a departure from the UK on May 7, I'm presuming we could estimate that ship's arrival date?

Thanks @DVGregori , and yes the weather issue is something I was presuming. But actually thought smaller town, less traffic in Boise might offset that, maybe a lot. I guess not. Maybe time to consider moving other cars to Haggerty to see what multicar discounts I could get in addition to the Emira.

Badge color issue has largely been put to rest some time ago. The owner of the Emira who posted photos with black/white badges responded that he replaced them with ones he purchased from Lotus UK. All Emiras are coming with Yellow/Black badges as far as we've seen so far.

Yep, that's what I'm gleaning from this. So carb state car or not, those that were built prior to carb approval were sitting around somewhere on either side of the pond.

Just curious if you have Sport/Cup2s, Sport/Goodyears or Touring/Goodyears on your Emira, and if that also could have affected things in this regard, in your opinion?

For tan, I'm hoping you're able to select something much less orange than what's showing in the photos for the Emeya cases. Even though photos show the Emira tan interior to be somewhat orange (my photos included), it definitely is not that way in person, IMO. Thanks!

Did someone answer the phone when you called Lotus USA? Because when I called I got VM and left a message and the next thing I know my dealer is contacting me asking what they can help me with, because they heard I contacted Lotus USA.

I wasn't too happy to hear this either. Pics posted of cars arriving to Lotus of Bellevue in Washington state were in closed carriers, as they should be. I'm wondering if the dealers are specifying the carriers or if Lotus is just loading them on whatever carriers they have that show up at the port.

Ah ha! Porter to the rescue! Middle bag doesn't taper in depth bottom to top like the other two, which follow the seat back recline. Top of the middle bag is still 8 inches deep vs the other two are 5 inches deep. Looks strange with both seat backs forward, prob would look fine with the seat...
