Taycans were seriously hot property during the pandemic and were selling for way over. Not many in the market. Now with lease deals coming to an end along with market there are hundreds. Prices as low as £70’s

Cars currently at £85k at dealers… Now if we were offering our cars to dealers A) Many don’t want them as a direct purchase B) SOR But let’s be honest those selling Emiras into dealers would be getting circa mid £70’s to late £70’s very max so already loosing money circa 10%

How are the sleeves supported / fixed to the OEM strut? Look like grub screws? What is the clearance over the strut once poisoned and the method of fixing to keep things nice and tight / aligned

I placed a deposit on a 570 last year but got scared off by none official McLaren warranty. Ended up going GT4 but have to admit they look awesome and drive magnificently. Been keeping a close eye on them could be tempted back with a rock solid warranty

I will call Lotus CS first and ask if they can get me into an equivalent spec’d V6 for pre increase prices (a cancellation) if they can’t then it’s money back time

Agree; none of the diff / transmission drag you hear and feel on the V6 too. Well at least I did on my test drive on Friday. Must say not a big fan of the steering wheel. Big chunk at 10-2 suppose it will grow on me

Tuning potential with the AMG engined i4 is a win and will no doubt form the future versions 410, 430 etc. I’m biased as an i4 depositor and hope that when announced the press say it’s the Emira to have over the V6

With potential price increases being spoken of / likely then “overs” may not actually be overs in the not so distant future. I’m patiently waiting for my i4 and having driven the Prestbury DV car today hoping it will be a step up on the V6.

Porsche and many others no different I’m afraid… would rather be seeing overs being asked than unders let’s be fair. We all want to hold as much value in our depreciating assets for as long as possible

Thanks I’m hoping we will be told something sooner rather than later. All i4 depositors in the same boat here and heard nothing. Nothing given to the press. I am eager to find out how they think the both variants compare

At 400hp I.E. matching the V6 the i4 will surely be the “quicker” car albeit “better” will come down to a number of factors / opinion. Time will tell. Test drive 3rd Feb at Prestbury and making an evening of it meeting up with my dad for a steak and a few beers at nearby hotel. See how I feel...

I see… If you look at what’s advertised used the rates and monthlies are shocking! I.E. really high and as an equivalent a V8 vantage of similar value is cheaper on the monthlies. The long term used values will depend on the deals being offered and the finance rates. Whilst some will buy cash...

Surely the one I screen shot gives you an idea of payments still against level of deposit. For me it looks good and sub £500 month albeit the balloon is extremely high hence the low monthly

I have had loads of different dates. Recent to the now Aug for September was July and pre that May 23. Speaking for myself I believe the i4 will bring about positive reviews and suit the Emira; bringing less weight but also tuning opportunities in line with what Komotec are offering on the V6...

I’m an i4 believer but as many of said before me; the constant moving of dates, interest rate rises etc just compound things. As it stands I am now Aug build and Sept delivery. If this was to go back then it puts me into a probable winter 23 position. Not sure I could hang in that long to be honest
