What is demon tweeks? Does it mean ugly?

Have you tracked a GTR? I have and would say you are totally incorrect about corner speed. NISMO GTR is #14 at Nurburgring. Regular GTR is #30. They are so easy to drive fast they become boring.

Have you tried a Nissan GTR? They are very fast on the track and off.

You should probably get a go kart. It really sounds like you are looking for max track experience and it would definitely check your boxes. :unsure:

I’m not interested in any automatic cars. I had a new Nissan GTR and it was fun for a month. Emira will be a weekend car with gated R8. I will probably track Emira twice a year. If it does not make me smile I will sell and keep R8. I will admit the Vette front is good but everything else is hideous.

Paying cash so no second thoughts. The gt3 keeps trying to tempt me but remaining Lotus for now. R8 is keeping me smiling for now so not as bothered by delays.

I really like your optimism on the delivery date.

I was early deposit and was told no from the dealer on change. I reached out to lotus direct and a couple weeks later dealer called and accepted the change. Definitely worth a second try.

I agree with you. People that say Alcantara is more durable are wrong. To say it is more high end is also wrong. Pretty sure they do not put Alcantara in Bentley’s.(could be wrong) I think It is like the parachute pants trend in the 90’s:p

It sounds like you were lucky enough to own one. Thank you for the insight. There is a chalk gt3 for sale in Boston it has 20,000 miles and they want 189,000 for it. It is tempting but I think the Emira looks way cooler. I used to have a tuned 930 that I miss. I would guess the gt3 is a raw car...

Curious what else did you have your eye on? Only other car that has been calling me is 2018 gt3. Only thing keeping me away from GT3 is what I have read about the gearing on the street not being fun.

Yeah I only had to put down $2500 total. My dealer did not require a second deposit when submitted to Lotus.

It is so weird that some dealers required 11k when I only had to deposit $2500🤷‍♂️ it sounds like some dealers are partying with deposit money.
