I think this car needs 5-6K for a real launch really depends on the grip of the tires. 4K is very likely not enough but I was at the limit of the axle to hold it because of whatever defect or weakness there is.

In my case I think just swapping the axle makes sense. Warranty work could get held up and if I had an axle on hand I could be back at testing this thing today easy. Let me go to Autozone and see if they have them 🤓

Yeah not worth the abuse. Not going for records just good consistent data. No doubt the i4 is a faster car the trans really holds the V6 back but I still really enjoy it such a fun car to beat around in.

I'm most intrigued if they can actually flash through OBD. That's how my 400 was done if they can do that with the Emira already just wonder why we do not have more US based options at this time and hope some are coming soon. Obviously a severe lack of info with that tune but it's intriguing 🤔

Komotec and Jubu do offer 435/440 tunes on a stock car. I have a komotec 435 tune on my Evora 400 that works flawlessly and survived track days. The problem is getting a tune from them is pricey or they don't actually deal with the US (Komotec is iffy) JUBU costs like $6K but it's a standalone...

Yeah there's a weight limit sticker in the trunk too but I've never had an issue on the 400 just getting in and working over the engine. I did the same for the intake on the Emira and no wierd noises. I would suggest smooth movements but so far so good lol Edit: and that page in the manual...

I'm 195lbs and stand/crouch In the trunk on my 400 and Emira no problem. Only way to access the Slave cylinder to bleed clutch to my knowledge on the 400/GT.

Mine isn't lowered but the kit does decrease ground clearance at the front a bit. I feel like my Evora 400 lowered and my Emira at stock ride height sit about the same. Lowering the Emira with this kit would mean you have to be super careful I think.

Ah yeah you do have to install some rivnuts with a tool but they go in factory pre drilled spots no actual modification

It's not hard to install yourself if you are inclined to do so. I reused some Lotus hardware and used some of the hardware they provided. Fitment was spot on 👌
