Pretty sure you get 12 months from initial activation - which happens when the first signal contact is made (that's what it says in the emails I received from Scorpion).

There is always the option of having it re-covered when it's knackered - and then I can have yellow stitching on it too. Why that was only an option on the auto I'll never know? (wheel's made at different factories I believe - but still...).

I don't think I'll ever sell. I bought an Audi S5 Cabriolet in 2011 with the intention of never selling it. It's in my garage right now - waiting for its new friend to turn up... Can't see myself selling the Emira - I can (unfortunately) see myself pottering about in it in my 80's 😂

Heard similar - but they've still got at least one run of V6's to do yet - in early 2025. That's common knowledge. And - importantly - you can still configure a V6 on the site - so therefore you can still buy it. When that option disappears, then that's the end of the V6 - and we always knew...

I can't wait - well, I can obviously, because I have. However - I'm not one of life's moaners - the whole experience for me has been pretty good. I've mainly dealt directly with the factory - and I've been made to feel pretty special in the process.

You are right - ish - but wrong - it's pretty exclusive. They're building around 5000(ish) Emiras per year. So 10000 not far off the mark. But, I've been obsessed with them since they were announced - and I've seen about 4 in the wild in all that time, in the UK, where you'd think you'd see...

How was the dealer experience? Did it go well?

Some errors 'stick' and some can clear themselves - I have a VW Caddy and a VW T6 - both can bring up the engine fault simply by me going to a different filling station than normal. Seem to be hypersensitive. Those faults will clear after a while. My wife's Audi Q3 decided it had an Airbag...

General rule of an OBD reader - reset it - if it comes back, it's a problem - if it stays away, it was a glitch. I'll have to put a disclaimer against that advices obviously, but I think it's pretty much in the common sense category.

I prefer the exact opposite - but it's not an option. I want to be able to see the engine bay (on the V6 at least) - but also want to be able to leave a bag behind the seats without it being seen. Clear back / Tinted sides - perfect option...
