Did the Sports setup feel much different to Touring? How did it handle the uneven surface?

I’m not sure driving round Hethel is going to be a good indicator of the different suspension characteristics. As demonstrated by Harry choosing Sport and changing to Touring after a B road blast.

How was this found out? I didn’t see any mention of it in his review.

Q: How can I make specification changes? Specification changes are only available on orders not locked with production. Do we think this is correct.? My understanding was changes could still be made when locked in, but would result in a unspecified lengthy delay.

Henry's review in EVO was fairly complementary of the Sports/Goodyear combo. Just served to confuse me even more :confused:

Shmee has only driven sport though. Harry's had both.

I think, given the cars he owns, he specifically said the Sports setup was firm. Given he owns a Senna and GTR black series that is quite telling.

Presumably the toe/camber for Sports could be changed and set as per Touring settings giving a hybrid setup.

No. He originally spec’d sports but has since changed to touring

What's telling is Harry has changed his order from Sports to Touring after driving both.

Good to hear but why don't they say that in the first place? I've still not had an official email from Lotus informing me of the delay. It's only by reaching out to Lotus directly or via the forums do we get any update. I won't be surprised if August slips to September.

Previously had a 111R Elise Currently got a VX220 Turbo that i'll be keeping. Getting harder to find nice ones and prices are on the way up.

Email When I've queried why August they replied : "Yes, your delivery estimation is August. This is due to the capacity of production at factory. We've tried to plan as many vehicles in for production to equal July delivery however some have resulted in early July production and August delivery."

So Lotus have replied that all June deliveries have been delayed and mine is now estimated for ...... August 😠 I've replied asking why August :cry:

I'm (supposed to be) a June delivery and not had any email delaying it yet. I've asked Lotus for an update re my order and i'll report back. My Car is sports suspension. I wonder if those delayed have opted for touring?

It will be interesting to see how the price of Lotus applied PPF compares to a third party. For convenience, especially if collecting from factory, Lotus PPF would be ideal
