Also not all PPF installers are the same. IMHO most are mediocre. The really good ones have zero seams, no relief cuts, no exposed edges, no stretch marks. There is zero evidence it even exists. It's definitely an art form for the expert installers. All others simply lay down plotter cut pieces...

Color wrap and PPF wrap are not the same. PPF is thicker and protects against debris impact... also has self healing properties. Color wrap is just that... color change with thin stretchy film.

Each dealer had a choice all through this how they wanted to handle communication to their customers. It was either to handle it themselves using Lotus content or having Lotus USA, thus the difference in communication to buyers. Some dealers are being less informative, some literally copy and...

Nothing new... Dealers were the ones that were informed about the actual 2/12-3/13 dates. Which was forwarded to customers.

I'm in a CARB state... had my VIN since the beginning of December. Even shows up for insurance quote purposes. Its a valid registered VIN registered with NHSTA.

Because your car is more than likely at port. They won't share vins because if someone lists their car for sale... that's a hefty fine for Lotus.
