I'm ready to share my story: I've been a lifelong Honda junky, I have been dedicated to the Civic Type R platform since 2017, and owned several Civic Si's throughout the years, and had only driven a Honda going back to the mid-2000's. I also bought my wife an Acura RDX A Spec a few years ago...

This. That is absolutely brutal. Personally I could not take delivery of the car if it had that kind of damage

    Cost for Oil Change?

I typically avoid dealer work as much as possible. How difficult is it to do my own oil change? Anyone have any resources out there/DIY guides?

I just noticed in your signature, Track: 2025 Ariel Atom 4 [build submitted] I've GOT to see this once you have it. I can't tell you how bad I wanted to get an Aerial Atom 4, even over the Emira, but with a paranoid wife and two young kids, I had to stay tame with the Emira 🤣

I'm happy to see this is being developed for the Emira. Coming from the Civic Type R platform, the lack of rev match is one of my biggest complaints about the Emira. I can't understand why Lotus didn't implement a switch to turn on/off auto rev match. I will be looking into this once I get mine...

Very good, what color did you get? I live off 210 in North St Aug by St Johns Parkway, perhaps we could coordinate a photo shoot sometime!

As far as I know, there are no auto V6s in the USA yet. They are at this point only shipping manuals.

    First Emira has hit BaT

Understood. Since this was a very recent auction, and was a single owner, essentially brand new car, I thought this was a reflection of the market for the Evora. I am admittedly very new to the Lotus brand.

    First Emira has hit BaT

This may be true, but anyone also paying current MSRP for an already-titled/not brand new from the dealer Emira is also someone who has money to lose. Based on how terrible the Evora has depreciated, it is hard for a patient, responsible buyer to pay a premium (one might even call it mark up...

The Civic Type R has the best manual gear box, with rev match, I have ever driven. When I test drove the Emira, the gearbox was fine and precise, but no where close to as good as my CTR LE that I sold to raise cash for the Emira. Granted, I haven't driven that many different brands of manuals...

    First Emira has hit BaT

My guess is the final bid will be somewhere around 105-110k range. Going to be very interesting to see

FS: 2024 Emira V6 First Edition - USA carb state

I've reached out to 7+ Lotus east coast dealers, letting them know I have a refundable deposit in place + I am in line waiting to place an order here in FL but happy and willing to jump on a sooner allocation if they get one available via customer walk away. Almost all dealers except one took...

Love the white/silver calipers with the black pack. If this also has the white interior, this is the identical build I am ordering once my spot in line gets called on. Dying to take this home

My saleswoman over there is Logan. I tried ordering from them but they require a $5k non-refundable deposit just to get on the reservation list. Given that every other Lotus dealer I spoke with required half of that amount that was fully refundable until placing an order, I couldn't do it. I'd...

6 speed reservation. They said I could place my order as soon as possibly July but more likely October- December timeframe, and then 3-4 months after the order is placed will I take delivery. They said they are 99% sure I will get a 2025 and not a 2024 model. This is Lotus Orlando

I did some searching around and can't seem to find it... can anyone share what the weight of the black ultra-lightweight forged wheels are? Coming off a 2021 Civic Type R Limited Edition with 20 inch forged aluminum wheels from the factory, I am curious how they compare in the Emira's black...

Have most folks on here test driven the Emira? My local dealer in Jacksonville FL told me they do not allow test drives with their demo car because of the CARB hold up. Meanwhile, I asked my reservation dealer in Orlando FL if I could come by and do a test drive in March, they said no problem.

Greetings all. I just put my reservation in line to order from Lotus in Orlando FL. I know the actual order date is probably nearly a year away, but after seeing an Emira in person (and sitting in one) I absolutely had to get my name on the list. I can't wait for deliveries to take place as to...
