It’s half applied the changes and half not applied the changes. Originally I was the blue demo car spec with dc wheels, then completely changed to silver wheels which are still correct but nimbus and black leather omitted but my link up to today showed those changes so must have been populated...

I feel for you @hml_xy , if it was my car I’d be deeply upset and would be thinking of rejecting it. You do right to surface your issues on here and Facebook, often it’s the only way to get leverage for a company to take note and resolve those issues quickly.

Perhaps it isn’t a seat structure issue as such but how the seat has been created then on by Lotus, it only takes someone to put the foam in wrong on the seat for it to be uncomfortable for some..

The base of the seat just felt hard, no matter adjustment and lumber. I’m keen to hear if Harry’s is more settled with the seats in his last review and offer me some hope.

Harry said he too has trouble with the seats and I did on two test drives. I guess we are all different body shapes.

Just mention section 75 to the credit card company if you struggle to get a refund - joint liability. Normally puts focus on the situation to resolve it quickly. I used section 75 on a car deposit last year during Covid with the credit card company when an indie car dealer was being an arse.

If it's failed PDI it does make you wonder why the guy/girl doing the work isn't driven to do a quality job - admittedly if a part fails its beyond their control. I agree totally on the seats, im 5 9 and the seats (despite numerous adjustments) felt no better than our 2004 Freelander. I won't be touring this car and Im surprised Harry Did.

Thats the thought going through my mind at the moment - Even though we have 4 cars already i'd want to use the Emira every day as a daily.

Luckily the Lotus is made out of recycled carrier bags so won't rust but will biodegrade over time or end up in an ocean somewhere at the end of its life.

Easiest way to check is to use a streaming app which has an equaliser and modify bass to all the way up. This is what I did to the car at central after I had paired my phone to it. I found some bass present from the speakers doing this then using the bass,midi and treble setting on the Emira.
