Just goes to show the Emira is a bit like marmite you either love it or you don’t. I do think, and have observed from test drives of the Emira, that the general public wlove the car. I couldn’t say that about a BMW M2 or plain Porsche Cayman. Perhaps we are the special people Tony alludes too...

And that’s the thing, why couldn’t they be fitted first time correctly.

But then you get into the old vs new debate. 90-100k does buy some nice 4 year old motors but thats the rub they are 4 years old. After running them for say another 3 years they are seven years old and not many people want to run a 7 year old super car due to parts pricing.

I think the majority of lotus are off till the 3rd Jan. that’s what I was told when I rang up today to get validation on my build, I,E what it is I’m buying as the build spreads is correct but the confirmation link is wrong. Was told they are all vack on 3rd.

I used the equaliser on the streaming app, in my case Amazon Prime music, this did seem to pump more bass and frequency into the system. Can you hear it above the engine whilst driving?

You will get mixed opinions on this matter. I had ordered privacy glass and you can still see the engine from the outside in the light. In certain lights its darker. I'd get yourself to your nearest dealer and have a look at whatever they have as a demo.

My wife shares the same opinion and tells me to get a detailed breakdown of the car I've ordered..

Got a reply back from LCC quite quickly to say the configurator isn't displaying my actual spec and it is Nimbus. Must say though I was slightly pleased I may be delayed from getting the car so early and that's niggling me. Will take Xmas to think on what I really want to do.
