Personally, the wait doesn't bother me at all, as long as Lotus honour the launch price. I want interest rates to go up to boost my retirement funds. They were around 15% when I bought my first house in 1990, and we managed as we lived within our means. Today's rates are nothing compared to that!

After much more deliberation, reading reviews, threads and often changing my mind, I am now locked in with Touring. The car will never see a track, not with me in it anyway.

I hope mine is delayed from Dec 2022 to March 2023. That’ll suit me just fine!

What configurations have you been offered?

I just spoke to customer care about the possibility of changing from V6FE which is due delivery in December 2022 to i4FE. 1st deposit 31st July. He basically confirmed I’d have a long wait well into 2023 as they are only delivering 125-150 ish i4FE to uk in 2022.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but can’t find it: Until when is the deposit refundable? I think I read it is 1 month prior to delivery, is that correct?

Now swaying back to Touring, but hopefully I’ll have chance to get a test drive before 3rd call and locking it in?
