    Which car to get rid of?

    I put my 991.2 GT3 Manual up for sale. Prefer the ackwardness of the Lotus Emira and its looks over GT3. Not keeping them both. Sold my 47k kms, manual e46 M3 last year...and man I regret it. Will never get it back. Was factory new, drove like a new car, one of best engines ever produced.

    I am very surprised why people rush into putting deposits down and then expecting it back whenever they feel they can pull out without any consequences. I rather believe in a world where you put your money where your mouth is. Fine to pull out...but it will cost you... Also, the car is great...

    The mechanic/wizzard soldered a resistor in the cable loom, erased the faultcode and did not see them coming back. Fingers crossed...the story in short, probably a bit more come to it...as in evening hours to work out a mod. VDK in the Netherland did the work.

    Top Gear twin test

    This review is spot on and highlights very well what most of us expected of i4...an angry 4 cilinder supercharged beast...capable to be tuned to very high hp. Instead it is super boring, not alive. It went numb because of cooling issues and climate requirements... Not the best job by Lotus...

    Over the long term...first of final editions fetch higher prices. In general: I expect both versions to depreciate, i4 more as V6 Manual more special on long term. I also think i4 will see higher production numbers over longer period.

    i4 versus V6 sound … from Goodwood ….. OR NOT :(

    As I said...i4 is all about how it charges and shifts...it's the opposite of v6 manual. Sound is crap, just take it for granted.

    Agree it shares looks with MC20... For the money...Emira on Nitron suspension, any day! So much car for the money. Can be easily specced to anyones taste, since it has such a great proven chassis! Ranges from comfortable tourer to sharp track scalpel.
