I put my 991.2 GT3 Manual up for sale. Prefer the ackwardness of the Lotus Emira and its looks over GT3. Not keeping them both. Sold my 47k kms, manual e46 M3 last year...and man I regret it. Will never get it back. Was factory new, drove like a new car, one of best engines ever produced.

I am very surprised why people rush into putting deposits down and then expecting it back whenever they feel they can pull out without any consequences. I rather believe in a world where you put your money where your mouth is. Fine to pull out...but it will cost you... Also, the car is great...

Can't mix numbers and letters in the 5 positions plate. Needs to be 3 letters in a row and 2 numbers grouped together.

Well...it's taken me till this week to get the registration finished and the plates for the car :-( Still need to pick up the papers and plates as I am not around at the moment. My passport expired and had to wait for renewal before they would issue the registration and plates. Anyway...another...

The mechanic/wizzard soldered a resistor in the cable loom, erased the faultcode and did not see them coming back. Fingers crossed...the story in short, probably a bit more come to it...as in evening hours to work out a mod. VDK in the Netherland did the work.

Car is also on Nitron 3 way and forged JUBU wheels...

Haha...I mean if I would have to choose...any day I would get Emira + 100k cash instead of getting into a GT4 RS. Actually...irrespective of price points...I prefer Emira ;-)

Was driving a Cayman GT4 RS last night. It feels (in fact it's a bit outdated) older than Emira, it's not a nice ride for just a Sunday drive, it's extremely harsh and loud - a pure race machine. I personally would not swap it for Emira, which is a much more accessible and pleasant car to be in...

This review is spot on and highlights very well what most of us expected of i4...an angry 4 cilinder supercharged beast...capable to be tuned to very high hp. Instead it is super boring, not alive. It went numb because of cooling issues and climate requirements... Not the best job by Lotus...

Over the long term...first of final editions fetch higher prices. In general: I expect both versions to depreciate, i4 more as V6 Manual more special on long term. I also think i4 will see higher production numbers over longer period.

I don't get the point. The Lotus chassis has always been very good - why change it? Why build a totally new car - when it is clear you will never retrieve development cost!? The V6 and compressor are actually a really good match for this chassis. I think Lotus went the absolute perfect way -...

As I said...i4 is all about how it charges and shifts...it's the opposite of v6 manual. Sound is crap, just take it for granted.

Would love the option to also be able to select other art than Piet Mondriaan on the screen...like a Dali, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring....

Agree it shares looks with MC20... For the money...Emira on Nitron suspension, any day! So much car for the money. Can be easily specced to anyones taste, since it has such a great proven chassis! Ranges from comfortable tourer to sharp track scalpel.
